Population:
Shenzhen is the third largest city in China, it is a style and modern city. Shenzhen grew from a fishing village of 30,000 people into a modern metropolis of 13 million people.
Location:
Shenzhen is Located in Southern China, is the border zone between Hong Kong and mainland China. Shenzhen was established as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in early 1980 when China reformed. The total area of Shenzhen is approx. 752 square miles, with approx. 150 square kilometers being within the SEZ.
Weather:
The climate in Shenzhen is fairly similar to that of Hong Kong and temperatures here can be almost subtropical with intense summer heat and lots of rain!
The summer is exceptionally long, lasting seven months and temperatures can rise up to 35 degrees C.
The winters in this city are much more comfortable however, and temperatures rarely drop below 9 degrees C.
August and September are the best seasons to visit while the temperature and weather is nice to travel.
